Our team from Bootstrappers’ Research Council (BRC) and Directorate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (DEI) , SRM IST, had the privilege of setting up a stall at the event to highlight our ongoing projects, innovative solutions, and collaborations with startups.

One of the significant interactions during the event was our meeting with Mr. Chandran, MD & CEO of Campus Angel Network. During our discussion, Mr. Chandran shared his insights on how angel networks can play a pivotal role in nurturing early- stage startups by providing not just financial support, but also mentorship and strategic guidance.

Dr. Vaikundaselvan shared his extensive experience in incubating startups and fostering innovation through the NGI TBI initiative. He discussed the importance of creating a robust ecosystem for startups that includes access to funding, technical guidance, and industry connections.

Launch of Bootcamp

As part of our participation in Startup Thiruvizha 2024, Directorate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (DEI) and Bootstrappers’ Research Council (BRC), SRM IST officially launched its Entrepreneurial Bootcamp, scheduled to take place from October 22-26, 2024. The bootcamp was unveiled during the event in the esteemed presence of Mr. Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and CEO of Startup Tamil Nadu, who has been a prominent advocate for fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the state.

During the launch event, Mr. Sivarajah Ramanathan expressed his enthusiasm for the initiatives and highlighted the importance of such programs in nurturing local talent and fostering innovation at the grassroots level. His presence at the event underscored the significance of this bootcamp as a vital tool for empowering aspiring entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu.
